SUMMARY:"NatUrbana Conecta" workshop: the impact of the renaturalization of cities\, its measurement\, communication and integration into urban strategies
DESCRIPTION:The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge continues to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences within the framework of NatUrbana Conecta\, the community of practice on the renaturalisation of cities and monitoring of indicators developed in the context of the Recovery\, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP)\, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.  \nThis workshop will be dedicated to  generating a collective workspace and learning   shared on the measurement of the impact of renaturation in cities\, addressing its integration into  municipal urban  strategies\,  as well as its application in the communication to citizens of a new model of healthier city adapted to climate change.  \n

SUMMARY:Presentation of the results of the LIFE Marbled Teal project
DESCRIPTION:Celebration of the day of presentation of the results of the LIFE Marbled Teal project “Coordinated actions for the recovery of the marbled teal (Marmaronetta angustirostris)\, which has had as its objective to improve the conservation status of 3\,000 hectares of wetlands to reverse the risk of extinction of the most endangered duck in Europe.  \nLa  Biodiversity Foundation  of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has coordinated  this project in which  the the ministry itself through the Segura Hydrographic Confederation and Tragsatec;  the Regional Government of Andalusia\, through the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and the Environment and Water Agency\, M.P.; the Generalitat Valencianto; the Region of Murcia and the organizations SEO/BirdLife and ANSE. It has the  financial contribution from the European Union’s LIFE Programme and MITECO’s Directorate-General for Water. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Presentation of the results of the LIFE A-MAR project
DESCRIPTION:Celebration of the final event of the LIFE A-MAR Natura 2000 project\, which has worked in the last five years to improve knowledge and value marine areas of the Natura 2000 Network in Italy and Spain with the aim of involving citizens in their conservation\, including users linked to sectors such as tourism\, tourism\, tourism\, tourism\,  fishing\, diving\, nautical-recreational or port authorities\, among others. \nThe Biodiversity Foundation\, of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has been a partner of the project for the actions in Spain. The project has been coordinated by the Italian Federation of Natural Parks and Reserves (Federparchi – Europarc Italia) and Triton Research and Lipu have also been partners. Co-financiers have included the Asinara National Park\, the Tuscan Archipelago National Park and the Cinque Terre National Park. It has had the financial contribution of the LIFE Program of the European Union.
