The Earth’s temperature is currently warmer than it has been for 70 to 80% of the time over the past 11,300 years. This is pointed out in a research carried out with a database of 73 sites worldwide. <\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

The study shows a chronological journey through the history of the planet’s temperature since the last Ice Age. The research has been published in the journal Science and funded by the National Science Foundation’s Paleoclimate Program. <\/p>\n

Previously, temperatures had already been reconstructed at the regional level, while this study includes the entire global context.
