The “Biodiversity In Good Company” initiative, a project that has boosted the involvement of the private sector in achieving the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Aichi Targets, aims to strengthen its objectives during the Conference of the Parties (COP11) held in Hyderabad, India.<\/p>\n

During this meeting, the member companies have sought to consolidate cooperation between companies and organizations in order to ensure that the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity are taken into account in their strategic plans.<\/p>\n
This initiative has been working to join forces in the protection and sustainable use of biodiversity, incorporating these two principles into business management systems and promoting the signing of a declaration in favour of biodiversity. When the end of public funding came last year, the companies linked to this initiative have wanted to maintain it through their own funds. <\/p>\n
