{"id":97856280,"date":"2014-03-24T16:22:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T15:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/actualidad_home\/a-new-device-for-the-study-of-marine-noise-has-been-created\/"},"modified":"2014-03-24T16:22:00","modified_gmt":"2014-03-24T15:22:00","slug":"a-new-device-for-the-study-of-marine-noise-has-been-created","status":"publish","type":"actualidad_home","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/actualidad_home\/a-new-device-for-the-study-of-marine-noise-has-been-created\/","title":{"rendered":"A new device for the study of marine noise has been created"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Biologists from the Oceanogr\u00e0fic and researchers from the Polytechnic University of Valencia have developed a new device, Samaruc, which allows the study of marine noise.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\n<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the new device, the sounds of the sea produced by different species can be detected, recorded and classified, as well as allowing it to be programmed to capture certain sounds, such as that of the dolphin.<\/p>\n<p>It is a technology that helps in the protection of the marine environment and the different species that inhabit it, thus being able to characterize the biological diversity present in seas and oceans, as well as the presence of certain species and their behaviors and migratory movements. In this sense, Samaruc allows us to know the levels of noise pollution existing in the marine environment, and those factors that have an impact on the species themselves. <\/p>\n<p>The first tests of the device have been carried out in the Oceanogr\u00e0fic&#8217;s dolphinarium and ocean pond, and the future objective has been set to connect different devices with a ground station that allows real-time monitoring for location and the possibility of real-time action in specific situations.  avoiding, for example, the car with boats.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[],"class_list":["post-97856280","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
