During this meeting, which is being held these days in Vigo, and which aims to prepare the fifth report, attention is being focused on the limited absorption capacity of the atmosphere and the need to reduce CO2 emissions, as key points of the report that will be presented at the beginning of 2014.<\/p>\n
Likewise, Cristiana Figueres, UN executive secretary for climate change, pointed to climate change as the perfect opportunity for the technological and economic development of emerging countries, where renewable energies will play a leading role as a commitment to energy efficiency and independence and job creation.<\/p>\n
