The RTVE programme “The Green Beetle” dedicates one of its chapters to the oceanographic campaign that the Alnitak association carried out this summer in the Alboran Sea, as part of its mission within the LIFE+ INDEMARES project, whose objective is the sustainable use of biodiversity in Spanish seas, through the identification of areas of value for the Natura 2000 Network. <\/p>\n

“The Green Beetle”, on board the fishing boat Toftevaag, can be seen tomorrow, at 2 p.m., at 6 p.m., and next Sunday, at 1:30 p.m. Subsequently, there will be other broadcasts on Canal 24h and it will also be available on the internet, on ‘RTVE a la carta’. <\/p>\n
The Toftevaag is a Norwegian ship, built in 1910 and restored by the Alnitak Association for its research campaigns in the Mediterranean. For more than 20 years, this entity has been committed to conservation and research in the field of marine biodiversity, working in close collaboration with economic and social agents linked to the environment, and especially with the fishing sector. <\/p>\n
