Once the CO2 is released, it is transported in deep geological formations, isolated indefinitely, so that the emission of this gas into the atmosphere is reduced. <\/p>\n<p>It is the first time in the world that this process has been completed with circulating fluid bed (CFB) boiler technology, which elevates Spain as an international benchmark in CO2 capture by oxyocombustion, a process that has advantages such as practically zero emissions and flexibility to use different fuels. This will allow the use of this technology at a commercial level, thus contributing to the competitiveness of Spanish and European industry. <\/p>\n<p>The City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN), an agency under the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, has received funding from the European Union&#8217;s Energy Economic Recovery Programme for the development of this project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[],"class_list":["post-97857102","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
