He was one of the promoters of Greenpeace in Spain and has held the Honorary Presidency of this organization since 2003. His most notable action was in 1983 aboard the Sirius, in the Strait of Gibraltar, where he fought against whaling by the Soviet fishing fleet.    <\/p>\n<p>  Author of numerous works and publications, especially in the area of environmental economics, Artemio Precioso brought a new vision of natural resources and the environment to the economy.
