The situation of the reservoirs at the head of the Tagus \u2013 Entrepe\u00f1as and Buend\u00eda \u2013 from which the transfer is fed has been studied, and the exceptional hydrological circumstances contemplated by the Law on the Exploitation of the Tagus-Segura Aqueduct of 16 October 1980 and the Royal Decree of 27 December 1985 have been confirmed. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to this Law and this Royal Decree, if at the beginning of April there are reserves of less than 504 cubic hectometres in the upper headwaters of the Tagus (supplier of the water of the Transfer), it will be the Council of Ministers who must decide the amount to be transferred.
