{"id":97857903,"date":"2015-05-01T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/actualidad_home\/learn-about-the-decalogue-of-good-environmental-practices\/"},"modified":"2015-05-01T07:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-05-01T05:00:00","slug":"learn-about-the-decalogue-of-good-environmental-practices","status":"publish","type":"actualidad_home","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/actualidad_home\/learn-about-the-decalogue-of-good-environmental-practices\/","title":{"rendered":"Learn about the Decalogue of good environmental practices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment encourages Spanish beachfront hospitality establishments to adhere to the <a href=\"http:\/\/chiringuitosyvoluntarios.es\/chiringuito-responsable\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Decalogue of Good Environmental Practices<\/strong><\/a>, an initiative of which <strong>640 beach bars nationwide<\/strong> are already part, which can be easily recognized through a badge placed in the establishment.<\/p>\n<p> This decalogue aims to guide beach bars to <strong>improve their management of space and resources<\/strong>, as well as to promote their activities to reduce pollution. It also seeks environmental awareness and corporate social responsibility, by adopting sustainable criteria in its maintenance or by promoting local employment.<\/p>\n<p> Establishments that adhere to the decalogue <strong>undertake to implement<\/strong> <strong>conservation <\/strong>actions such as placing an environmental information and awareness point, carrying out daily cleaning and conservation work on the beach environment or locating containers for selective recycling.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, they make efforts to promote the use of renewable energies and <strong>use local, ecological products without unnecessary packaging<\/strong>. They are also involved in collaboration with territorial administrations and public services on the beach, as well as acting as dynamic agents in the defence of the maritime-terrestrial public domain.<\/p>\n<p> Adherence to this decalogue is a <strong>necessary preliminary step for the presentation to the <a href=\"http:\/\/chiringuitosyvoluntarios.es\/premios-chiringuitos-responsables\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">IV edition of the &#8220;Responsible Beach Bar Awards&#8221;.<\/a><\/strong> Those interested have <strong>until June 22<\/strong> to apply for these awards.   <br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":35564,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[231,106,233,232],"class_list":["post-97857903","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","palabras_clave-chiringuitos-responsables","palabras_clave-eficiencia","palabras_clave-playa","palabras_clave-sostenibles"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
