{"id":97857958,"date":"2014-11-22T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-11-22T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/actualidad_home\/jury-at-the-ecoembes-r-awards\/"},"modified":"2014-11-22T09:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-11-22T08:00:00","slug":"jury-at-the-ecoembes-r-awards","status":"publish","type":"actualidad_home","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/actualidad_home\/jury-at-the-ecoembes-r-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Jury at the Ecoembes R Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director General of Environmental Quality and Assessment and the Natural Environment, <strong>Guillermina Yanguas<\/strong>, inaugurated the second edition of the R Awards, organised by Ecoembes, in which the best innovative initiatives linked to sustainability and recycling have been recognised.<\/p>\n<p> During the awards ceremony, which took place at the headquarters of the Official College of Architects of Madrid, Guillermina Yanguas highlighted the effort of those who work &#8220;to make the society in which we live more efficient, especially <strong>by generating less waste, and using the waste produced as resources<\/strong>. With their work they guarantee the preservation of the environment that surrounds us, not only for us but also for future generations.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>  The awards were attended by a <strong>jury made up<\/strong> <strong>of Sonia Casta\u00f1eda, director of the Biodiversity Foundation of the<\/strong> Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment; Federico Soria, director of the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid of the CSIC; Gustavo Samayoa, president of the Federation of Independent Users and Consumers (FUCI); \u00c1ngel Fern\u00e1ndez, secretary general of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP); Bel\u00e9n Fern\u00e1ndez, head of participation at WWF; journalists Juan Ram\u00f3n Lucas and Juan Luis Cano; and chaired by \u00d3scar Mart\u00edn, CEO of Ecoembes.<\/p>\n<p>  This second edition has had more than <strong>140 nominations<\/strong> of which the winners have been, in each of the <strong>five categories<\/strong>, <strong>Laboratorios Indas<\/strong>, in the category of Best Ecodesign Measure and the RNE journalist <strong>Sandra Camps Oca\u00f1a<\/strong>, as Best Journalistic Work. For its part, the company <strong>Pedro Segura<\/strong>, has received the award for Best Research and Innovation Project and in the categories of Best Public Administration Awareness Campaign and Best Social Initiative the <strong>Cabildo de Tenerife<\/strong> and the <strong>Foundation Support Network for Social and Labour Integration<\/strong> (RAIS Foundation) have been awarded, respectively. <br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":35501,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[35,36,89,95],"class_list":["post-97857958","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","palabras_clave-biodiversidad","palabras_clave-medio-ambiente","palabras_clave-reciclaje","palabras_clave-residuos"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
