{"id":97858106,"date":"2016-10-25T12:01:55","date_gmt":"2016-10-25T10:01:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/actualidad_home\/second-edition-of-the-report-of-the-biodiversity-business-management-observatory\/"},"modified":"2016-10-25T12:01:55","modified_gmt":"2016-10-25T10:01:55","slug":"second-edition-of-the-report-of-the-biodiversity-business-management-observatory","status":"publish","type":"actualidad_home","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/actualidad_home\/second-edition-of-the-report-of-the-biodiversity-business-management-observatory\/","title":{"rendered":"Second edition of the Report of the Biodiversity Business Management Observatory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<strong> second edition of the Report of the Observatory of Business Management of Biodiversity<\/strong>, prepared by the Club of Excellence in Sustainability with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, has been presented at an event held at the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid and inaugurated by the Secretary of State for the Environment Pablo Saavedra,  who has been accompanied by the director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Casta\u00f1eda, and by the general secretary <strong>of the Club of Excellence in Sustainability<\/strong>, Juan Alfaro, among others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saavedra stressed that <a href=\"http:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/sites\/default\/files\/notas\/16.10.25_saavedra_presenta_informe_observatorio_sostenibilidad.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>&#8220;collaboration between the Public Administration and companies is key to moving towards a sustainable economy&#8221;.<\/strong><\/a> After assessing that in Spain this collaboration is being developed &#8220;with special intensity&#8221;, the Secretary of State stressed that &#8220;we are witnessing a progressive transformation of public opinion with regard to the relationship between development and environmental protection&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>In this sense, Saavedra has indicated that the most innovative business sector with the most future projection is already <strong>integrating the environmental variable into its strategies<\/strong>, as an outstanding aspect of corporate social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spain is the country with the most biodiversity on the European continent<\/strong>, as it has more than 85,000 different species; more than 30% of the Spanish territory is part of the Natura 2000 Network and we are, after Sweden, the second European country with the largest forest area, with 27.5 million hectares, as he indicated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":35778,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[35,440,441,76],"class_list":["post-97858106","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","palabras_clave-biodiversidad","palabras_clave-ces","palabras_clave-informe","palabras_clave-sostenibilidad"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
