{"id":97858118,"date":"2016-10-03T11:56:01","date_gmt":"2016-10-03T09:56:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/actualidad_home\/we-awarded-12-spanish-companies-for-their-commitment-to-sustainable-development\/"},"modified":"2016-10-03T11:56:01","modified_gmt":"2016-10-03T09:56:01","slug":"we-awarded-12-spanish-companies-for-their-commitment-to-sustainable-development","status":"publish","type":"actualidad_home","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/actualidad_home\/we-awarded-12-spanish-companies-for-their-commitment-to-sustainable-development\/","title":{"rendered":"We awarded 12 Spanish companies for their commitment to sustainable development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment has announced the <a href=\"http:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/es\/prensa\/notas-de-prensa\/el-ministerio-de-agricultura-alimentacion-y-medio-ambiente-premia-12-empresas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>names of the award-winning companies in the 2015-2016 edition of the European Business Awards for the Environment<\/strong><\/a>, in its Spanish Section, a recognition granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, through the Biodiversity Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>In this edition, to which <strong>125 nominations<\/strong> have been submitted, of which 48 correspond to large and medium-sized companies and 77 to small and micro-enterprises, <strong>12 Spanish companies <\/strong>have been awarded that have demonstrated a firm commitment to sustainable development and stand out for their environmental performance.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, this edition has had the special category &#8216;Business and biodiversity&#8217;, in which <strong>59 applications<\/strong> have been submitted.<\/p>\n<p>The results achieved in this call corroborate that <strong>Spanish companies continue to be committed to the environment <\/strong>and are part of a global market in which the environment has already begun to be integrated into business, understanding this commitment as an opportunity and source of employment and wealth.<\/p>\n<p>The companies awarded in the Spanish Section will have access to the<strong>  European final<\/strong>, competing with the rest of the winning companies in other EU member states and candidate countries. The winners will be announced on <strong>27 October in Tallinn, Estonia <\/strong>at the awards ceremony. <\/p>\n<p>The European Business Awards for the Environment of the Directorate-General for the Environment of the European Commission <strong>have been held since 1987<\/strong> in order to recognise those companies that stand out for their environmental performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":35767,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"palabras_clave":[429,86,36,31],"class_list":["post-97858118","actualidad_home","type-actualidad_home","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","palabras_clave-ebaes","palabras_clave-empresa","palabras_clave-medio-ambiente","palabras_clave-premios-europeos"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
