We are going to present the project “Lifestyle changes to recover nature” to the 2020 call of the European Commission’s LIFE programme<\/strong>, to promote a new model of life that results in a healthier, healthier and more sustainable society.<\/p>\n The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), through the Biodiversity Foundation, coordinates this project proposal, whose objective is to promote changes in the lifestyle of citizens that favour the conservation and recovery of biodiversity through sectoral policies<\/strong>. The proposal originally has the participation of the General Directorate of Biodiversity, Forests and Desertification, the Autonomous Agency of National Parks through CENEAM, as well as SEO\/BirdLife and the EFE Agency (EFE Verde). <\/p>\n Spanish society is aware, according to surveys, of the loss of biodiversity but it is necessary to understand the relationship that our lifestyles and consumption habits related to food and leisure and tourism have with this loss of biodiversity and to promote systemic and structural changes; hence the importance of implementing this initiative.<\/p>\n We want you to help us with the project proposal.
