Intensive agriculture has been developed in this area, with great impact on the soil, aquifers, coastal water bodies (Mar Menor), etc. It is necessary to &#8220;reconvert or adapt&#8221; conventional intensive farming systems to other more sustainable techniques that are equally or more profitable than the existing ones.
