OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to offer comprehensive and innovative advice to workers and\/or unemployed people to promote the creation of new businesses and self-employment initiatives within the framework of a sustainable blue economy, favoring entrepreneurship and skills.<\/p>\n
THEME: Thematically, the project will focus on sustainable aquaculture\/fisheries, although it will also address aspects of other topics such as renewable energies, energy efficiency, efficient management, and the marine Natura 2000 Network, among others.<\/p>\n
DESCRIPTION: The project will offer accompanying actions with expert mentors, adapted to the fresh and frozen fish products sales sector, in several regions of Spain, to boost the creation of new businesses and self-employment initiatives within the framework of a sustainable blue economy, improving people’s skills. With special emphasis on the marine Natura 2000 Network.<\/p>\n
The project will combine the mixed accompaniment, with physical presence at least 10% of the time, of a mentor who will explain the general lines of how to start an activity and will explain the different areas to take into account when developing a business activity in this area, informing them that there will be a mentor specialized in each area, to whom they can consult doubts by telephone, e-mail or, especially innovative, via Messenger during Fedepesca’s office hours.<\/p>\n
In these distance actions, future entrepreneurs will have the support of a mentor specialized in each area of business management. In business management (tax, labor, financial, administration); in marketing and communication in environmental, economic and social sustainability (resources, energy, sustainable mobility, sustainable fishing and aquaculture, waste, fishing gear, circular and blue economy, food waste), food safety and quality (traceability, labeling, Good Hygiene Practices Guide, HACCP, SANDACH, how to process at the point of sale, UNE standards); in Occupational Risk Prevention and Equality and the new Data Protection Law, fishing and aquaculture value chain, marine Natura 2000 Network, lines of financing for investment and subsidies for hiring, innovation and trends. These mentors will accompany and advise them in the decision-making processes in all these areas for the creation of their company, and may receive additional specialized advice in the areas that have been identified as needing reinforcement.<\/p>\n
