Description<\/strong>: At Friends of the Earth we have demonstrated for years that composting is one of the most important tools to walk towards zero waste. Studies indicate that employment in this sector will increase significantly in the coming years<\/strong> due, on the one hand, to the fact that waste regulations have to be complied with and, on the other, to the fact that it is an area in which almost everything remains to be done. In order to train unemployed people and prepare them for the coming years in which municipalities will have to separate the organic fraction of their municipal waste and manage it mainly by composting, and will need people with the necessary knowledge to do it correctly, Friends of the Earth is organizing these Master Composting courses.<\/p>\n

Courses<\/strong>: 6 Master Composting courses will be held. The courses are free of charge and are aimed at unemployed people<\/strong>. Four courses will be held in Galicia and two in the Community of Madrid. The courses will last 50 face-to-face hours <\/strong>, both theoretical and practical, where the complete cycle of management of the organic fraction of waste will be addressed, so that l@s t\u00e9cnic@s capacitad@s can carry out tasks such as:<\/p>\n
