To improve the competences of the recipients on the environmental effects that anthropic pressures exert on the marine environment in order to develop tourism compatible with the Marine Strategies.<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/strong>:<\/p>\n

The Marine Strategies Framework Directive states that Member States must take the necessary measures to achieve Good Environmental Status (BEA) of the marine environment. The BEA is determined through 11 descriptors, among which are the pressures that human activities exert on marine ecosystems: non-native species, commercially exploited species, eutrophication, alteration of hydrographic conditions, pollutants and their effects, pollutants in fishing, marine litter and underwater noise. <\/p>\n

The training programme, therefore, revolves around the dissemination of the Marine Strategies among workers in the marine environment. It maintains as a fundamental premise to combine tourist activities with the conservation of marine habitats and ecosystems, thus promoting sustainable tourism development. A package of training courses is proposed aimed at managers and workers who carry out their activity in marine areas of the RN2000 marina. They cover various topics, all of them aimed at improving the knowledge of the descriptors of the Marine Strategies affected by tourism activities. <\/p>\n
