As the entity responsible for the management of waste of local competence in the Historical Territory of Bizkaia, Garbiker leads this project with the aim of promoting the transition towards a more circular, sustainable and innovative model in the use of resources. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Created in 2024, Waste Lab Bizkaia is set up as a reference centre for the qualitative, creative and innovative recovery of currently underused waste, promoting new ways of generating economic, social and environmental value from it. To this end, it offers a space for innovation and experimentation where people, entities and organisations can collaborate, share knowledge and develop solutions aimed at responding to social, business and environmental challenges. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The centre is structured around three areas of specialisation: awareness and dissemination, research and experimentation, and education and training. This project is precisely in this last area, which gives continuity to the experience developed in a first edition of training aimed at technical staff of SMEs for the development of business plans for waste prevention and management. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Following the results obtained, the new edition is aimed at the technical staff of the local entities of Bizkaia, in order to strengthen their capacities to face the challenges arising from the implementation of European and state regulations on municipal waste.
