In this context, the recently declared ISRA (Important Sharks and Rays Area) by the IUCN in waters off the coast of Murcia (ISRA Murcia Eastern Coast) is a critical bastion for the future of these species. With this project it is proposed to obtain critical biological, ecological and fishing information of the common guitar and other species in the area through a multidisciplinary approach, including visual censuses with an autonomous diving suit (visu and stereocamera), community science, data mining from social networks and forums, mobility studies (acoustic telemetry) and identification of their optimal habitat and potential distribution.
