With regard to fishing discards, the CFP states that unwanted catches must be landed, which means that catches that were previously discarded on the high seas have to reach land and, for some, new uses must be found. <\/p>\n<p>This project aims to highlight unwanted catches, not subject to TACs or quotas, which until now had no commercial value or interest for the fisherman, developing products with high added value.
