Advances in the knowledge of bottom trawling fishing activity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n            <strong>Description:  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The CAMONMAR3 project arises as a continuation and extension of the spatio-temporal analysis of the CAMONMAR2 project. During the execution of this, various actors involved in the management of the study area have highlighted various suggestions that will serve to optimize the work carried out and improve the basic information for the spatial planning of the area. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this sense, a series of actions CAMONMAR3 proposed to achieve the optimization of information, aimed at improving marine spatial planning in the canyons of the Escarpe de Mazarr\u00f3n, Seco de Palos and &#8216;campo de pockmarks&#8217;. In addition, as a novelty, the preliminary diagnosis of the fishing sector has been incorporated to advance in the knowledge of fishing activity and its interactions with the environment. The aim CAMONMAR3 will be to improve knowledge for marine management, optimising the information available to facilitate decision-making when regulating fishing activity (among others) in the Seco de Palos and &#8216;pockmark field&#8217;, as well as identifying hot spots for the conservation of key species and habitats.
