These cameras were installed on the coast, covering a certain area, to extract geographic information from recreational fishing. By subsequently applying another algorithm that identifies the type of vessel, as well as a status classification algorithm (to automatically identify vessels fishing or sailing), all geographical information can be generated that allows the fishing effort to be characterised and in turn generate maps of the distribution of the activity, schedules or impact in areas of high ecological value.  among others.
