The project focused, on the one hand, on investigating the attitudes and knowledge about waste management generated during navigation carried out by inshore fishermen and recreational boaters. Likewise, the existing knowledge on the infrastructures available for the proper management of waste on board the ship and in port has been analysed and barriers have been identified that prevent its correct management. <\/p>\n

Secondly, training and awareness-raising work were carried out. Thanks to the information collected in the previous phase, the appropriate material was prepared for this specific training for both groups. Likewise, awareness-raising actions were promoted so that the port authorities could provide waste storage systems adapted to the different types of waste and proceed to their proper management. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
