{"id":97861694,"date":"2017-12-19T09:51:39","date_gmt":"2017-12-19T08:51:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/programa_pleamar\/anguilla-sustainable-eel-fisheries-in-the-natura-2000-network\/"},"modified":"2017-12-19T09:51:39","modified_gmt":"2017-12-19T08:51:39","slug":"anguilla-sustainable-eel-fisheries-in-the-natura-2000-network","status":"publish","type":"programa_pleamar","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/programa_pleamar\/anguilla-sustainable-eel-fisheries-in-the-natura-2000-network\/","title":{"rendered":"ANGUILLA &#8211; Sustainable eel fisheries in the Natura 2000 Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"field-label\"><strong>Description:  <\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">With the implementation of the project, the level of knowledge of eel subpopulations in areas of the Natura 2000 Network of the coast of the Iberian Southeast has been improved and it has been possible to establish management criteria for the Regional Plan for the Management and Recovery of the European Eel, which help to improve its conservation status through the rationalization of the fishery.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, follow-up and monitoring work has been carried out in different spaces, allowing us to know the use that the species makes of them (lagoons, wetlands, associated channels, etc.) and data have been collected to know the maturation phase and the periods in which migration occurs and begins.
