Their toxicity and ability to alter microbial communities, or induce the emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains, can transmit these traits to aquaculture pathogens or even human pathogens. For these reasons, the project aimed to reduce the use of antibiotics and biocides in inland aquaculture through ingredients with antiparasitic and antimicrobial action incorporated into the diet of rainbow trout.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">To test the viability of these components, ANFACO, together with the Tres Mares Group and Viveros del Soto Oliv\u00e1n, sought to demonstrate their effectiveness from the health and environmental sustainability perspective.
