The project aims to contribute to the conservation and sustainable exploitation of marine resources and the sustainable economic development of Natura 2000 Network areas and Marine Reserve of Fishing Interest (RMIP) on the Murcia-Almeria coast.<\/p>\n

The Columbares Association has carried out an initiative to contribute in a sustainable way to improve the management and conservation of fishing resources, with the active participation of all the actors involved (professional fishermen, restaurants and traders, administrations and citizens). Among its objectives has been significant the achievement of sensitizing the local population and tourists<\/strong> about the importance of Marine Reserves and artisanal fishing<\/strong> for the conservation of marine biodiversity<\/strong> and the regeneration of fishing resources. <\/p>\n
