In eastern Spain, four species of seabirds endemic to the <strong>Mediterranean<\/strong> , such as the Balearic, Mediterranean and Cory&#8217;s shearwater, and the Audouin&#8217;s gull \u2013 all of which are protected and threatened \u2013 suffer from these bycatches. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The project, developed by the University of Barcelona, has approached the determination <strong>of the degree of interaction between birds and longlines<\/strong> and after testing effective and adaptable mitigation measures to the longline fleet of the Spanish east for its implementation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.programapleamar.es\/proyectos\/reduccion-de-la-captura-de-aves-marinas-en-los-palangreros-artesanales-del-levante-espanol\">See the project<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22405,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[702,650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-97861724","programa_pleamar","type-programa_pleamar","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-european-fisheries-fund","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
