Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are geomorphological units in the Alboran Sea, mainly canyons and escarpments, whose circalitoral communities are practically unknown. Previous campaigns carried out in the Seco de los Olivos and other areas of special fishing interest in this area attest to this. However, there are other areas that for different reasons have not been studied. However, they are of special interest in conditioning the oceanography of adjacent coastal areas. Some of them are protected marine areas, due to their ability to act as radiation nuclei for species of fishing interest and spawning and nursery areas. In addition, they are areas where communities made up of protected species usually develop. <\/p>\n

This project aims to expand knowledge about these areas and their contributions to the fish stock, through a combined study of cartographic bases, campaigns with ROV, autonomous diving and morphological and molecular analysis.<\/p>\n
