For the design of the waste inerting equipment, analyses will be carried out of current needs, the characteristics of the waste to be treated according to the fishery and the characteristics of the vessels in the fleet involved. Next, the design phase of two heat recovery prototypes will begin. This stage includes the study, simulation and design of the prototypes, based on the starting conditions, both of the engine exhaust gases and the requirements for the elimination of parasites. The most suitable processing system will be defined according to the heat recovery method, direct (introducing exhaust gases directly into a drying trommel) or indirect (capturing the exhaust gases with a thermal oil loop and taking them to a viscera drying oven).   <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Subsequently, the proposed system will be commissioned and tests will be carried out at laboratory level on the engine bench located in EnergyLab. The efficiency analysis of both prototypes will be carried out. Finally, a physical-chemical and microbiological characterization (parasites) of the viscera samples of the ships studied will be carried out before and after the heat treatment in a pilot device for validation of the system.
