However, it has come at the expense of potential threats and impacts on resources and the environment. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">These strategies cause changes in the dynamics of the fleet that make it difficult to estimate the effort deployed and, consequently, bias the calculation of one of the essential parameters for the sustainable management of the fishery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>To address the complex challenge of efficiently estimating the effort of this fleet, the DOMINO project proposes the use of emerging information sources (AIS) and the application of state-of-the-art statistical tools.<\/strong>  This will make it possible to understand the complex behavior and effort deployed by one of the most important fleets on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.programapleamar.es\/proyectos\/domino-desgranando-el-comportamiento-de-los-cerqueros-tropicales-para-refinar-la\">See the project<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22405,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[652],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-97861951","programa_pleamar","type-programa_pleamar","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fondo-europeo-maritimo-de-pesca-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
