{"id":97861954,"date":"2022-03-07T11:16:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T10:16:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/programa_pleamar\/gepescart-artisanal-fishing-project-for-the-management-of-coastal-wetlands-and-species-of-fishing-interest\/"},"modified":"2022-03-07T11:16:51","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T10:16:51","slug":"gepescart-artisanal-fishing-project-for-the-management-of-coastal-wetlands-and-species-of-fishing-interest","status":"publish","type":"programa_pleamar","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/programa_pleamar\/gepescart-artisanal-fishing-project-for-the-management-of-coastal-wetlands-and-species-of-fishing-interest\/","title":{"rendered":"GePescArt &#8211; Artisanal fishing project for the management of coastal wetlands and species of fishing interest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This project continues the line marked by previous initiatives to <strong>improve information on some species of fishing interest in Natura 2000 Network wetlands and the riverbed system of the Iberian southeast<\/strong>, paying special attention to endangered species, such as the European eel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">These actions, which began more than a decade ago, include the projects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.programapleamar.es\/proyectos\/anguila-pesquerias-sostenibles-de-anguila-en-red-natura-2000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Eel Monitoring for Fisheries Management in the Natura 2000 Network<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>(2018) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.programapleamar.es\/proyectos\/gepesang-seguimiento-de-anguila-para-la-gestion-de-pesquerias-en-red-natura-2000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>GePesAng<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (2019-2020), developed with the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation within the framework of the Pleamar Programme, co-financed by the EMFF, and the collaboration with WWF for the improvement of knowledge and conservation of<em> stocks<\/em> fishing in the Mar Menor and other sensitive coastal areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <em>Artisanal Fishing for the Management of Coastal Wetlands and Species of Fishing Interest <\/em>project has been launched by ANSE and has the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation, of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the Pleamar Programme, co-financed by the EMFF (European Maritime and Fisheries Fund).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The project has the collaboration of Riegos de Levante, WWF-Spain, the Research Group of Basic Zoology and Applied to Management and Conservation of the Department of Zoology of the University of Murcia, the Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE) of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL),  the Local Action Group for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia (GALPEMUR) and with the support of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Service of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia and the El Hondo Natural Park.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.programapleamar.es\/proyectos\/domino-desgranando-el-comportamiento-de-los-cerqueros-tropicales-para-refinar-la\">See the project<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22405,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[652],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-97861954","programa_pleamar","type-programa_pleamar","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fondo-europeo-maritimo-de-pesca-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
