Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

The OCIMER+ project addresses very important aspects for the development of cultivation and for the management and conservation of the sea urchin,<\/strong> presenting the action with an integrative approach, in which aspects related to nutrition, genetics, health and cryopreservation<\/strong> will be addressed, as well as the study of the behavior of the species in the face of the alterations caused by climate change. This holistic vision involves several research groups from the Mari\u00f1a Research Center of the University of Vigo<\/strong>, in charge with their knowledge of bringing this project to a successful conclusion. <\/p>\n

During this extension of the OCIMER project, the activities that were pending implementation in the previous phase of the project will be carried out, in addition to other complementary innovative actions, which will help to improve the management of this ecologically and economically important marine resource.<\/p>\n
