In addition, it sought to provide the necessary information to the Management Plans of the SPAs to efficiently manage fishing activity, allowing seabird populations to be maintained in a good state of conservation in these areas.<br \/>\nThe analysis has been carried out in the Levantine-Balearic demarcation, analysing separately each of the 7 marine SPAs declared as the most important feeding areas for seabirds (ES0000508, ES0000510, ES0000512, ES0000513, ES0000514, ES0000520 and ES0000521). The work focused on the eight species of seabirds that use these SPAs as feeding areas during the breeding season and breed in Spain. All species are included in the Birds Directive and some in the CNEA as <em>Critically Endangered <\/em>(Balearic shearwater) or <em>vulnerable<\/em> (Audouin&#8217;s gull).
