This territory shares seabird populations and problems related to maritime traffic and mortality in fishing gear, which require joint management at the regional level.<br \/>\nThe project advances in the proposal for this SPA and proposes a comprehensive management of the territory between the Sisargas Islands and Estaca de Bares, covering the Gulf of \u00c1rtabro and 3 marine SPAs, with 3 blocks of actions:<br \/>\nA-Identification and diagnosis of seabird populations, impacts and threats. Censuses and monitoring, ringing, use of space, genetic analysis, reinforcement of populations, proposal of measures.<br \/>\nB-Actions to support identification and diagnosis.<br \/>\nC-Fishing and seabirds.
