Highly innovative tools such as AI, genetics and MT represent an opportunity to improve efficiency, reduce costs and avoid potential animal welfare consequences in CMR studies. iGENTAC will apply these methods to define the guidelines needed to establish new monitoring plans in an MPA (Parque Nacional das Illas Atl\u00e1nticas de Galicia).<br \/>\nThese minimally invasive methods can be easily incorporated into a comprehensive monitoring plan, being complementary to each other and applicable to different taxonomic groups depending on their biological characteristics.
