And in this sense, the European Union requires the provision of data on recreational catches within the framework of data collection (DCF) and the Multiannual Plan (EU MAP). In Spain there are 900,000 recreational marine fishermen who catch 40,000 tonnes of fish annually. However, there is no systematic collection of information on these catches.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pescamaritimarecreativa.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMR WG<\/a> network will contribute to the development of coherent, comparable and adaptive Data Collection Frameworks (DRMs) in Spain at a time when different regional initiatives are being designed and tested. The PMR GT network will strengthen coordination and coherence between these initiatives to provide state-level information.
