Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this second year of the ALTERNFEED project, probiotic microorganisms will be used, which will be added to the previously formulated feeds. First, the in vitro assessment of the possible synergistic and\/or antagonistic effects that exist between the probiotics and the algae that will be used in the composition of the feed will be carried out. <\/p>\n

In a second part, the effect of experimental functional feeds compared to control feed without the addition of probiotic microorganisms will be evaluated in vivo<\/em> . Juvenile turbot will be used, which will be fed 5 diets: control (C) and 4 functional diets supplemented with probiotics. The duration of this phase will be 3 months (1 month of acclimatization and 2 months of experimentation) during which growth and survival parameters will be recorded. In this experiment, two samplings will be carried out: one at the beginning and one at the end of the experiment. These samples will allow the study of: body composition (proteins, lipids and fatty acid profile), intestinal histology and functionality, intestinal microbiota, gene expression related to metabolic, immune, anti-inflammatory and anti-stress parameters and metabolic status of the animals. <\/p>\n
