New technologies and advances in the knowledge of elasmobranchs from the Spanish Levant 2."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The e-Lasmo2 project analyses fishing pressure in Marine Protected Area (MPA) proposals. Campaigns will be carried out in sandy areas in the province of Alicante to check the presence of elasmobranchs and the analysis of the effect of recreational fishing will continue. As a continuation of the <strong>e-Lasmobranc<\/strong> project, the current<em> dataset <\/em>will be expanded and adapted to new species, incorporating metadata and images from fish markets. The deep neural network architecture will also be redesigned with an <em>informed machine learning<\/em> approach to integrate expert knowledge and improve identification rates, resulting in an accessible mobile application for elasmobranch identification.
