BIOCONECTA-CL proposes to improve the green infrastructure of the Camino Lebaniego through ecological restoration and connectivity actions. To this end, it will carry out interventions on the coast and countryside for dune protection and control of invasive exotic vegetation at the mouth of the Nansa River, the installation of a bird observatory, the restoration of 10 dry stone walls, the creation and adaptation of 10 water points and the improvement of 5 ha of meadow for pollinators. In addition, it will promote the protection of vulnerable areas in high mountains with 2 stewardship agreements and climate-resilient forest management in 50 ha (transformation of 5 plots into native mixed forest).
