The project aims to surround and cross the urban area of Benidorm with green and blue spaces capable of providing comprehensive ecosystem services that help mitigate the effects of climate change, increasing the resilience of the whole against extreme events, preserving and improving the socioeconomic viability and quality of life of citizens and animal and plant species. As levers for change, reclaimed water surpluses, previous sectoral planning with objectives equal or complementary to those of the call, and the experience and capacity of governance and participation structures will be used.
