The main objective of Acueductos de Biodiversidad is to incorporate biodiversity spaces as another part of the city of Segovia, integrated into the rest of the urban elements, in a stable manner over time and with indicators that allow for monitoring. It is proposed to generate a holistic and forward-looking approach to demonstrate that biodiversity in cities is an intrinsic aspect. The execution of the project will establish an improvement of the existing spaces, as well as new areas connected to each other, connecting all the habitats of the city, generating a network that works in a global way, reducing or eliminating barriers and isolated green areas.
