The project focuses on the creation of the Green Belt of Ponferrada, as a key piece in the green and blue infrastructure of the municipality, which will improve urban biodiversity indices, recover certain areas degraded by old land uses linked to coal mining and restore riverside ecosystems occupied by invasive exotic species.
