The project improves a sorting line for PET plastic waste by polymer and colour, as well as its grinding to produce flakes, reducing waste generation and increasing the amount of flake destined for the production of food-grade rPET. A more efficient sorting system will be implemented to recover post-consumer PET, and a single-stage grinding for the reduction of fines to reject.
