{"id":48593,"date":"2023-08-23T17:15:43","date_gmt":"2023-08-23T15:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/network-for-the-detection-prediction-and-monitoring-of-the-effects-of-drought-on-the-structure-and-biodiversity-of-mediterranean-shrub-formations-in-eastern-spain-matoseg\/"},"modified":"2025-01-29T12:24:29","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T11:24:29","slug":"network-for-the-detection-prediction-and-monitoring-of-the-effects-of-drought-on-the-structure-and-biodiversity-of-mediterranean-shrub-formations-in-eastern-spain-matoseg","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/network-for-the-detection-prediction-and-monitoring-of-the-effects-of-drought-on-the-structure-and-biodiversity-of-mediterranean-shrub-formations-in-eastern-spain-matoseg\/","title":{"rendered":"Network for the detection, prediction and monitoring of the effects of drought on the structure and biodiversity of Mediterranean shrub formations in eastern Spain (MatoSeg)."},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The general objective of MatoSeg has been to establish a system for the detection, prediction and monitoring of the effects of intense and recurrent droughts on the structure and biodiversity of Mediterranean shrub communities in the eastern peninsular.<\/li>\n<li>Twenty-four plots of scrubland on limestone substrate were selected and characterized from different areas; 7 in Aragon, 4 in Valencia and 13 in Catalonia.<\/li>\n<li>After the inventory of each of the plots, data on structure, soil and species have been collected, both on foot and by aerial photography, and all this information has been compiled in a public repository.<\/li>\n<li>Also after the application of a simulation model (Medfate), the daily water balance of the plots can be consulted through the Sitedrought application viewer.<\/li>\n<li>The results of the project suggest that the viewer could be a key tool for establishing forest fire risk maps, detecting changes in vegetation due to extreme droughts, and for improving decision making for the management of these areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":48315,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-48593","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
