{"id":48912,"date":"2021-05-04T09:49:28","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T07:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/acoustic-monitoring-of-the-behavior-of-the-angelshark-squatina-squatina-in-critical-conservation-areas-acusquat-ii\/"},"modified":"2025-02-04T10:29:54","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T09:29:54","slug":"acoustic-monitoring-of-the-behavior-of-the-angelshark-squatina-squatina-in-critical-conservation-areas-acusquat-ii","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/acoustic-monitoring-of-the-behavior-of-the-angelshark-squatina-squatina-in-critical-conservation-areas-acusquat-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"Acoustic monitoring of the behavior of the Angelshark (Squatina squatina) in critical conservation areas (Acusquat-II)"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The project has made it possible to expand the information available on the behavior, migratory habits and distribution of the Angelshark (Squatina squatina), with the intention of being able to draw up a future conservation and recovery plan for its populations in the Canary Islands.<\/li>\n<li>According to the data, the populations approach sheltered coastal areas, mainly in the winter months, between November and February, when mating occurs, and then move to deeper waters.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to citizen science actions, information has been collected from fishermen, divers and scientists, reporting sightings and accidental captures of adult Angelshark near 100 meters depth.<\/li>\n<li>One of the greatest threats to the species is that many of the reproductive areas coincide with beaches of high tourist interest and development, which makes it necessary to raise awareness among users.<\/li>\n<li>The project contributes to the objectives of the LIFE INTEMARES project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":18601,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-48912","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
