{"id":48988,"date":"2023-10-06T13:37:22","date_gmt":"2023-10-06T11:37:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/reinforcement-of-populations-ecology-and-biology-of-the-three-nesting-storm-petrel-species-in-the-canary-islands-countries\/"},"modified":"2025-04-24T13:51:48","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T11:51:48","slug":"reinforcement-of-populations-ecology-and-biology-of-the-three-nesting-storm-petrel-species-in-the-canary-islands-countries","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/reinforcement-of-populations-ecology-and-biology-of-the-three-nesting-storm-petrel-species-in-the-canary-islands-countries\/","title":{"rendered":"Reinforcement of populations, ecology and biology of the three nesting storm petrel species in the Canary Islands (COUNTRIES)"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The project has contributed to the improvement of knowledge about the three species of storm petrels nesting in the Canary Islands: the European storm petrel<em>(Hydrobates pelagicus<\/em>), the Madeira storm petrel<em>(Hydrobates castro<\/em>) and the Pechialbo storm petrel<em>(Pelagodroma marina<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>The actions aimed at monitoring the nests of the three species of storm petrels in order to know the phenology of the species, their abundance and distribution, have obtained relevant information for the improvement of their management and conservation.<\/li>\n<li>A complete proposal for conservation plans for the Madeira Storm-petrel and the Pechialbo storm-petrel in Spain has been elaborated.<\/li>\n<li>The marking and monitoring of specimens of the three species has provided highly relevant data and has led to the preparation of the proposal to expand the network of Special Protection Areas for Birds (SPAs) in the waters of the Canary Islands archipelago, contributing to the objective of LIFE INTEMARES to increase the surface area of the marine Natura 2000 Network in Spain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":48986,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-48988","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
