In this way, the aim is to promote the creation of green jobs, create specific professional profiles of risk analysts and promote joint projects between companies, in addition to raising awareness among entrepreneurs about the opportunities and advantages of environmental responsibility as a strategy for the development, growth and success of their businesses.<\/p>\n
The GreenChem project arises as a response to Law 26\/2007, of 23 October, on Environmental Liability and its subsequent regulatory development, which aims to know the possible environmental risks, their evaluation and the necessary measures to prevent, avoid and repair possible environmental damage caused by industries.<\/p>\n
In this sense, the final objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n
Increase pollution prevention measures.<\/strong> Improve the environmental management of chemical industries, facilitating their adaptation to compliance with legislative obligations, in order to reduce the probability of accidents that may cause any type of pollution in the environment and that may affect the natural heritage and biodiversity of the environment.<\/p>\n Expand pollution mitigation measures.<\/strong> Promote legislative compliance so that any type of incident with environmental repercussions has the necessary coverage and guarantees for the recovery and restoration of the altered environment, in order to preserve the natural heritage and biodiversity of the environment.<\/p>\n To facilitate the development of a new market for activities and services. <\/strong>A market with new professional requirements, which improves the professional qualification of workers, establishes new professional profiles in the company and offers new business opportunities that boost the activity of entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n The GreenChem project is mainly aimed at skilled and unskilled workers in chemical industries, entrepreneurs in the field, environmental consultants, entrepreneurs and workers in insurance companies.
