The initiative “Data collection for the management of woodcock hunting (Scolopax rusticola) to be obtained through hunting monitoring, ringing and rtvs via satellite” aims to create a homogeneous legal regulation in Spain, in accordance with the global guidelines for the species that are oriented by the FANBPO (Federation of National Associations of Woodcocks of the Western Palearctic). the FACE (Federation of Hunters’ Associations of the European Union) and other European hunting and conservation entities.<\/p>\n
For the contribution of methodology and data collection, FEDENCA and the Club de Cazadores de Becada de Espa\u00f1a (C.C.B.) have established a collaboration agreement in which the synergy between the two allows to take advantage of the social dimension of the former (450,000 federated hunters) and the specialization of those associated with the latter, which will enrich any project that is initiated in Spain by these entities. with a view to the comprehensive management of the woodcock.<\/p>\n
Specifically, the project includes the following actions:<\/p>\n
