Through local initiatives, it is intended to contribute to the conservation, protection and study of the Mediterranean tortoise population, as well as to the economic development of the municipality. <\/p>\n<p>The specific objective is the design and edition of the exhibition material determined in the &#8220;Basic Project of the Interpretation Centre of the Mediterranean Turtle and the Serra de Llaber\u00eda del Mas de l&#8217;Escultor, in Mar\u00e7a&#8221;, in January 2009.<\/p>\n<p>To equip the center, about 800 original photographs of the species and the environment of the turtle will be selected.
